At Huachuca Lodge No. 53 F&AM, charity is not just a principle—it’s a way of life. That commitment was recently demonstrated in a powerful way by our Lodge Secretary, Brother Brian Strecker, who personally donated more than $3,000 worth of volleyball equipment to Palominas Elementary School.
The donation included brand-new nets, balls, stands, and other essential gear to support the school's volleyball program, ensuring students have the tools they need to stay active, build teamwork skills, and enjoy the benefits of physical education.
When asked why he chose to make such a generous contribution, Brother Strecker shared, “It’s important to me that kids have opportunities to stay active and learn through sports. I wanted to make sure the students at Palominas had everything they needed to enjoy the game and grow as a team. I also went to Palominas as a kid and want to support my old school anyway that I can”
His act of kindness is a shining example of the Masonic values we hold dear—compassion, community service, and leading by example. It also underscores the deep connection our members have with the communities we serve.
Worshipful Master Howie Seibert added, “Brother Strecker’s donation speaks volumes about the heart of this Lodge. We’re proud of his generosity and thankful that his efforts will benefit so many young students.”
Huachuca Lodge No. 53 extends its thanks to Brother Strecker and to the dedicated educators at Palominas Elementary who work every day to inspire and support our future generations.
