Huachuca Lodge No. 53, Free and Accepted Masons, recently made a meaningful contribution to local education by donating two scooters to Palominas Elementary School. The scooters were awarded as prizes for the school’s annual math contest, helping to inspire students to engage with learning in a fun and rewarding way.
When school staff reached out looking for support to encourage participation in the contest, the Brethren of Huachuca Lodge were eager to help.
“Supporting our local schools is just one of the many ways we live out our Masonic values,” said Worshipful Master Howie Seibert. “When we heard the school needed prizes to motivate their students, we knew this was an opportunity to make a positive impact.”
The math contest challenged students to sharpen their problem-solving skills, and the promise of a scooter prize added an extra boost of excitement. The two winning students were recognized for their hard work and determination, and the school expressed heartfelt thanks for the Lodge’s generosity.
Huachuca Lodge remains committed to building strong relationships with our schools and supporting programs that foster academic excellence and personal growth among local youth.
